Representing Every Ward. Upholding Democracy. Strengthening the Foundation of Local Governance.
The Legislative Council – Voices of the People, Guardians of Good Governance Core Values
The Legislative Council of Mushin Local Government serves as the law-making and oversight arm of the local administration, ensuring effective governance, transparency, and accountability at the grassroots level.
Comprising dedicated councillors who represent the ten wards of Mushin, the Council deliberates on matters affecting community development, public welfare, and local policy implementation. Through motions, resolutions, and bye-laws, the Council provides the legal framework that supports the Executive in delivering sustainable progress and good governance.
Every member of the Council plays a vital role in bridging the gap between the government and the people — promoting inclusive representation, fairness, and equity across Mushin.
