Recognizing the growing challenge of drug abuse among youth, the Mushin Local Government entered into a partnership with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
Details
Through joint campaigns, workshops, and school sensitization programs, the council and NDLEA educated young people about the dangers of drug abuse. Rehabilitation support and counseling were also offered to identified victims.
Impact
This partnership has increased awareness about drug prevention, improved public safety, and helped rehabilitate several affected youths back into society.
