About Educational Services
The Education Department of Mushin Local Government is dedicated to nurturing intellectual growth, promoting inclusive learning, and ensuring access to quality education for every child and youth within the community.
Through various scholarship programs, support for public schools, and community-based learning initiatives, the department works tirelessly to create an enabling environment where education thrives and no child is left behind.

Provision of bursary awards, scholarships, and educational grants to deserving indigenous students pursuing academic excellence. -
Free GCE and JAMB Forms:
Distribution of free examination forms (GCE, JAMB, etc.) to support indigent students and encourage higher education participation. -
Summer Coaching and Holiday Lessons:
Organizing free academic coaching sessions during holidays to enhance pupils’ performance and bridge learning gaps. -
Free Transportation for Pupils:
Operation of a school transport scheme to safely convey pupils attending public primary schools within Mushin. -
