The Health Department of Mushin Local Government is responsible for promoting and protecting the health and well-being of all residents. Its primary focus is on preventive healthcare, disease control, environmental hygiene, and access to quality primary healthcare services.
The department operates and supervises several Primary Health Centres (PHCs) across the local government area, offering maternal and child healthcare, immunization, health education, and emergency services.
Through strategic health initiatives, the department continuously works to reduce disease outbreaks, improve sanitation, and provide equitable access to essential medical services for all residents, regardless of age, gender, or social status.
