About Works and Infrastructure Services
The Works and Infrastructure Department of Mushin Local Government is at the heart of the area’s physical and economic transformation. The department oversees the design, construction, and maintenance of all public infrastructure — including roads, drainage systems, bridges, buildings, and other essential facilities that support community development.
By combining modern engineering techniques with strategic urban planning, the department ensures that Mushin remains cleaner, safer, and more livable for residents, businesses, and visitors. It is committed to delivering infrastructure projects that reflect transparency, quality, and long-term sustainability.

Drainage and Flood Control:

Outdoor Advertisement and Signage Permits:

Maintenance of Public Buildings:

Street Lighting and Traffic Signage:
Installing and maintaining solar-powered streetlights, traffic signs, and road markings to enhance road safety and security during day and night. -
Waste and Refuse Management Support:
Coordinating with the Environmental Department and LAWMA to maintain proper refuse collection points and ensure that public spaces remain clean and orderly. -
Public Facility Upgrades:
Constructing parks, drainages, culverts, pedestrian bridges, and other community infrastructures that promote accessibility and a healthy environment.
